Limbo......

Kerrville - DailyTimes.com
What is the point of this picture? It really looks bad to me.

Waiting in 'limbo' tough for Matt Baker

* I just realized that the picture doesn't show up on the link for the article. You have to click on "Front Page" on the left menu of the newspaper's site to see it.

The purpose of this picture would be to show two sweet girls that have a loving father, going about doing his parenting much as he has for the girls entire lives. I think the article did a great job of showing that the maternal grandparents have and are causing their granddaughters a great deal of pain. Trust they are pleased with all of the investigation they have done this past year and half, and are glad they finally had enough evidence to encourage the police to do more investigation. But I wonder how this has effected their relationship with their two granddaughters. I do not see how the girls could have anything except hatred toward the people that have caused so much pain in their young lives. Two years that will never be regained, and a relationship that can never be regained.

But the picture isn't flattering. the girls don't look like they are having fun....neither does Matt. I'm NOT saying they never have fun together. But if this was the best picture/indicator of a good time, it missed the mark. It actually "speaks" the opposite. That's all I was saying.

#1: What kind of father is this who does not protect his daughter's from the media glare. THey should be sheltered not interviewed!

#2: He took Kari's life away forever! Two years is a drop in the bucket!

What in the world is he doing????? Now he is so crazed for media attention, he is putting his daughters in the interview hot seat.

From the article

“I don’t like this at all,” said Kensi, an 11-year-old sixth grader at B.T. Wilson. “I try to put it out of my mind as much as possible.”

HEAR THAT "DAD?" Your "daughter" is trying to put this out of her mind as much as possible....so why are you putting her in interviews? Why are you showing their pictures in interviews (could the cemetary visit in the Waco news been any more staged....who takes pictures of people visiting a grave and crying? Did you bring a personal photographer?)

You have been hiding many years...soon...very soon

Possibly the older daughter is being interviewed because she is such a mature young lady, and within age of being able to talk to judge. Matt's attorney probably knows that. And the older daughataer might think that is one of the few ways she can really help her dad. She probably feels helpless in beinb able to say what she really wants to say to grandparents. It is great that she is seeing a counselor, and that the court either has, or will be appointing an attorney for the two. They will then have their day in court.

Hey anon from 1-3---
She is a kid. Being an oldest or mature child doesn't mean you should be whipped into being an adult. A wise and loving parent would see to that. Also, if you had been reading the Waco news early one, you would know that the only reason the girls got any counseling was because the Dulins took MB to court to force him to do so. He refused before that. Once he moved to Kerrville any real counseling stopped.

It is wise to remember that you are getting your information from MB. He can't be trusted.

Go to the courthouse, read the court documents, open records, and see what the actual document said regarding visitation and counseling. Not exactally the way the Dulins are claiming.

Give me FACTS as to why MB can not be trusted. Not hearsay, or what has been in media, but actual facts. That seems to be what this site is lacking.

To Jan. 8th (11:37am)
So someone giving a written statement or testimony isn't a fact? Wow. Lets just say that I'm saving all my facts for the jury. Then we'll let them decide what is factual and what is "hear say"! I hope he's shaking in his pants with all the people coming forward!!!

By the way, where is the Soul Cafe, Matt?

What in the world does the Soul Cafe have to do with anything on this site? In researching I find that it is a contemporary church in Kerrville. Why is it an important site? Is that the church that Matt and his family attends? If so, what does it bring to this site? It appears that the one that keeps mentioning the place obviously knows about it, so ?

To 7:44am

Actaully, someone on another site mentioned the Soul Cafe and from the sounds of it he/she wasn't really thrilled wih MB. Maybe this person has something to tell as well! I guess we'll see.

So, to answer your question, I was just curious as to where it was located since someone had mentioned it on another site.

Well, now you know, it is in Kerrville. A church that Matt and family attends on Sunday evenings (this church does not meet on Sun. morning) His family attends Trinity Baptist Church on Sunday Morning. I have been to Soul Cafe but do not question Matt Baker and his innocence. I wonder if the poster was someone just throwing this name out for reaction. There are only a few Waco people that would know about this church, so that would narrow down anyone from that area that might have put this name out. Knowing the majority of the people from Soul Cafe, do not believe it came from any of them. Just my opinion.

Maybe I missed it......but where did the person asking about Soul Cafe ever say or intimate they were from Waco?
