Remove Baker’s photo
How often do you update the Tribune-Herald ’s online home page?

We are tired of seeing Matt Baker’s picture looking out at us. Please remove his photo!

Seeing that picture every time one pulls up our local news is disgusting. He is getting what was coming to him!

Jo Ann Rowland, Waco

Amen, Jo Ann. Amen.

Oh, I so agree. He's so creepy. Beyond creepy. Good call, Jo Ann. (And Shannon.)

It's definitely past time for his 15 minutes of fame to be over; to be silently replaced by 65 years of justice.

Justice for Kari. And her girls. And her family.

I couldn't agree more.

When are you going to tell your blog readers that the Dulin's custody case was dismissed by a State District judge this week?

These wonderful girls will live with the Baker family in Kerrville. Justice has prevailed! God is good!!

Justice did prevail when Matt received 65 years for murdering Kensi and Grace's mother while they slept in their rooms down the hall. Most of Kerrville (and the world) realizes this and will never forget. That is the most important justice in this whole matter.

More is coming soon. I will tell you what the Dulins have told me and how I feel to the very core of my heart as well.....God is good. All the time. We trust God. We have always trusted God. We will praise Him wherever this journey takes us. Not the response you expected, is it, Mr. ......(oh, you asked me not to call you Mr.)?

P.S. Linda was speaking at a state conference this weekend and will return home soon. I will make a post on the blog after I get a chance to talk to her and find out more. There's nothing to hide here on this end. There's just more mystery than answers right now. I don't have anything to add to the other news reports as of yet.

Anon commenter above - careful there you are showing your ignorance. Justice For Kari was gotten in the CRIMINAL case. This action was about CUSTODY - That is a DECISION that should NOT BE MADE LIGHTLY or as a technical aspect of law - if you really seek what is right or just for the girls of a murderer and as victims of his crime and influence. It appears the judge must have dismissed the case - and no real reason has been made known. I do know that there was no trial - or else the media missed it to. The JUST thing for the children is for full psychological exams be done on girls and both sets of grandparents, home visits, and for all relevant information available to be heard in a custody trial and then a decision made in their BEST INTEREST (BTW- not necessarily what they might think they want or where they have lived because of the decisions of a murderer)but with the paramount objective to find where they will be nurtured, counseled and heal and move forward the best. From what I have seen for the last few years following this case - I think the Dulin's appear far more likely to ensure just that.
