For the record.....
It's common, public knowledge in Waco that Kari's interview that afternoon went well. No, not well. Exceedingly well. A Kerrville friend of the Baker family commented on the Eyes for Lies blog that no one has talked to the people involved with the interview....just had Kari's words about it. First of all, Kari's words about it are important and speak to the truth. And secondly, for the Kerrville person to say that is just more proof that she (and I'd venture to say many others who believe that) are not fully informed by their informants. The actual interviewer, the committee members, the people in the office, the people in the building and people that saw her afterwards (including ME) have spoken. The interview went exceedingly well.

Thank you, Shannon. I am astonished (don't know why, after two years) at the way that Matt and his supporters try to lash out at Kari. Please,matt supporters, don't say that matt has never done that. First, he has done so in his interviews. This backfired on him and he tempered his remarks in later interviews. Next, Matt denigrated kari over and over as he talked about her with people in the Waco/Hewitt area. MANY people have told me about the terrible things he said about his wife. And clearly, he has said horrible things about Kari to people in Kerrville.
WHY? I can think of only one reason. He is guilty. The evidence will show this. Therefore, he and his attorney are trying to turn from the evidence and attack Kari, including the interview she had on the day of her death. How desperate is that!!!????
Can't you supporters of matt, support him without attacking Kari? Please know that the truth will not be hidden.

I posted this on the ICB blog for Yardie. It really bugs me that he is being attacked for raising concerns. However, that is such an old post (ICB) that I thought I would also paste my comment here. I feel for Yardie.

I am so sorry for the attacks you have received. I believe what we have seen is only a small part of the mounting evidence against Matt. Stay strong. Don't let what you are beginning to uncover about Matt shake your faith in others. He has fooled many people.
If you would like to share some of your concerns privately and without fear of attack, Shannon the blogger (don't even get me started) gets many such emails and keeps them private. She is a great resource to turn to.
