I'm not surprised that there are many people who are scared to come out and say who they are. They'll leave nasty comments about Kari, but then hide their identity. It sounds like someone else I know who is probably shaking in their boots right now because they are terrified of going to prison!

qhy should anyone respond to your digs, Shannon? obviously someone made a statement that you did not choose to post, thus the try to get that person to "come out" and get slapped again.

It wasn't a dig. It was a request for an email.
On March 25 at 10:12AM on the 'Comment in Waco Trib Today' post I received the email from Blogger showing someone left the following comment: "True, snoop around Dallas, and find out why Matt and Kari left Dallas. They were a couple, and both made that decision. Maybe Dallas was too far for Kari to commute to work in Waco and visit with her Mom?" I wanted to give that commenter a chance to voice their knowledge so we could discuss it and I could leave my follow-up comment and/or make a new post with this grand new knowledge. It appears over and over again that Matt's side loves a good opportunity to trash the deceased. So at 10:52AM of that same morning, I asked for more information with the 'Email Me' request. After I realized that the information wasn't forthcoming, I went ahead and just let their initial comment from 10:12AM through and then at 4:59PM that day I answered them and commented about my snoop-around findings. And they never responded back.
All the comments were posted. Relax.
I think I can understand why the person making the comment would not come forth to you, as you would not have liked the answers and would not have posted anyway. Sometimes it just isn't worth the effort to offer you any true info as you slam back. You should already know how to get in touch with people in Dallas that could, if they choose, give you facts. Don't think they will.
Yes, I will slam back if someone says something I know not to be true. If it's unrefutable truth they have, I couldn't slam back.
