Matt will be home with the girls by Thanksgiving. Finally, the adults are in charge of this case.

If things are looking so positive for the defense, why will it take 5 more weeks (a total of 9 weeks) before he gets out? Is bond still at $400,000?

I really just want justice to be done here. If he's innocent, can anyone explain to me and those reading this blog any reasons to feel that way.

This is for the first anonymous person:

How can you be so flippant about this?? This is all so incredibly tragic. How well do you REALLY know MB? Could it be that he has secrets of which you know nothing about? DARK SECRETS? Read about sociopaths.

What if he is released and with his girls by Thanksgiving? And what
if they are then living with the man who killed their mother?

This isn't the GAME of life. This IS life. What you should want is the truth.

The Word tells us that what has happened in the dark will be brought into the light. I don't know the route this will take. I do know that the truth will eventually be revealed. We should all be in prayer for the truth.

I am just curious to know that if Mr. Baker was so concerned about his daughters well-being, how come he never got them any counseling after they lost their mother? I've heard they would talk to school counselors, but does that really count?

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? I would just think that any child who loses a parent would need to get the best help they could possibly need!

Matt Baker might be home with his girls this Thanksgiving, but it may be his last with them.

We just need to keep the girls in our prayers and pray that the truth be revealed!

In response to Anonymous poster #3:
Perhaps you are the one being flippant. Lets flip your questions around...How well do YOU really know Matt? What are the DARK SECRETS that YOU know about Matt's life?

Yes, the truth will be revealed. It is obvious that if the truth is Matt is INNOCENT, you will never accept it.

This he did/he did not stuff serves no purpose. The truth will eventually be revealed.

His attorney had a high profile case. That does not make him a high profile attorney. He may be an excellent attorney but the facts are the facts and the truth is still the truth.

I have been closely aware of MB and his girls during this past year or so here in Kerrville. I personally know that the girls have been involved in counseling outside of school, as my daughter was also seeing the same counselor. How can anyone in Waco, 200 miles removed from the girls daily lives know what they are doing? Are you listening to the family that lives there? Do they really know what the little girls are doing, or who they are seeing, or what grief programs they have been involved in? Don't think so!!
