I see strong truthful blue eyes. Guess people will see what they want. Surprise.
I happened to have a friend that worked at the McLennan Jail while Matt was an inmate, and everything that has been said about him above was not true. He continued to be a teacher / preacher even while in jail. If all of their inmates were as well behaved as Matt, my friend said they could save a lot of money by only hiring half as many workers.
You know what? I also know a guy who works in the McLennan County jail. He said exactly the same thing about being a model prisoner and leading Bible studies. He laughed when he told us. He called it MB's cover for who he really is.
Now think about this. MB has been a minister for many years. He has the routine down pretty darn good. He plays the role well.
Matthew 7:21 says:

IT CAN BE FAKED BEFORE MAN BUT NOT BEFORE GOD.
On the other hand, I am glad that MB was the model prisoner. I believe he has found his calling. When he goes to Huntsville for 60 years to life, he can lead all the inmates in Bible study.
Shannon, why are you allowing such statements as the above to get published? Are you encouraging the MB bashing that much?
I let the comment through about one person that knew someone that witnessed his behavior as an inmate....and I let that comment through about another person that witnessed his behavior as an inmate. Just letting both views out there.
