Mommy! Mommy, Look!!!
As I was sitting here last night reading about the indictment, my daughter runs in from outside, "Mommy! Mommy, come look! God has something to show you!!!"
Yesterday sure was a day for God's tangible and visible signs of His great promises!!
I went to school with Kari in Gatesville. When I heard what had happened to Kari, it broke my heart. I was in such a state of shock and knew that there was no way that she would leave her beautiful girls and loving parents. She was so full of life and I remember her always laughing and she had a beautiful smile. She was very intelligent, outgoing, happy, and funny. Just a personalty plus! When we grew into adulthood, we didn't have the opportunity to "hang out" as we did when we were younger. Kari is truly missed by many people, whether they may be from her childhood, youth or adulthood. I truly feel that she and her family will get the justice that they all deserve. It has taken a long time and alot of patience. God Bless her parents, daughters, and rest of her family. Justice will finally be here. It has taken alot of strength and faith in the good Lord, and even though Kari is not with us physically, I do feel her presence. Having such good memories, happy and sad...Kari will always be in our hearts!!

How are you connected to this case? :::The other survey sent before I was done. Just realized it. I am re-doing it here. For the record, there were 4 on Family/Friend of Kari and 2 for Family/Friend of Matt. Those 6...please re-poll. Thanks!
"Mom.......you know what? I would give up all my video games to have Mrs. Baker back. I would give up my video games, all money or gifts I've ever gotten or ever get in the future. I just really want her back. I want her back more than anything. I want her back that bad."
"Mom.....you know......if I had to lose Mrs. Baker at the beginning of the year or at the end of the school year, I'd pick the end. Because even though it would be sadder, I'd have more time with her."
"She was a funny teacher. So funny. She would hit Cory on the head with a piece of paper. When Cory would start something funny, she would finish it. Cory is very sad. He's sad because no one will hit him on the head with a piece of paper again and no one will finish what he starts again. He's very sad."
